- Novas:
- Players who participated in the past rounds of 5Dim are rewarded with 1000 Novas for their collaboration.
- Novas acquired from now on are retained for all rounds until they are spent.
- At the end of each round, players will be rewarded with Novas based on their total score and victory points.
- The Novas store is now open for those who want to contribute financially to the 5Dim project.
- Powerups:
- Acquired powerups persist throughout all rounds until used.
- The Production powerup is removed.
- A Trade powerup is introduced, reducing reception time.
- Powerups for shipyards and trade CANNOT be used while sending or receiving an attack.
- Trade:
- New trade system - fleets no longer need to be moved, and its functionality has been streamlined.
- Trading system for resources, ships, and designs, with variable profit margins to choose from.
- Automatic resource price regulation system, adjusting market price relationships between resources.
- Specialization:
- The concept of specialization is introduced for shipyards.
- Players can specialize shipyards in a ship size, producing more quickly and at a lower cost with increased production of that size.
- Specialization is taken into account for both ship production and upgrades.
- Bank:
- The capital can be assigned to another planet even when under attack (Diablo).
- Events that modify the tax rate have been added.
- Profit from surplus empire points increased to 50% (Drizzle).
- Construction:
- Construction or research cannot be carried out with less than 1% of the personnel assigned to a task to avoid accidents resulting in days of downtime.
- Fleets:
- The attacked planet is now displayed in the header of the reports to aid in its location.
- Defenses have been modified in terms of attack and defense values, as well as scaling based on level.
- Research:
- The discount for those significantly below the universe's maximum level has been modified; it is no longer entirely free.
- Research times have been increased.
- The final levels of technology have been shortened to obtain end modules much earlier.
- Design:
- Final modules no longer have the benefits of Module A.
- The resources obtained by recycling a ship have been substantially reduced.
- Policies:
- Policies controlling mine and industry production separately have been added.
- A new category of policies containing all empire point policies, and a new policy to control spending limits, has been added.
