5Dim offers multiple game activities beyond construction and trade. This guide summarizes the available mechanics —Explorations, Expeditions, Weekly Missions, Enclaves, Operations and Necronexos— with their real rewards and how to access each one from the game.
Explorations (Relics)
When exploring a planet from the star map you can discover a relic: an abandoned object containing a reward. There can only be one active relic per planet; once collected, the planet can generate another in the future.
Rewards come in three types with the following approximate probabilities:
- Ship component (~60%) — exploration-type components not yet unlocked.
- Booster (~30%) — a random purchasable booster.
- Novas (~10%) — between 5 and 15 Novas of game currency.
Access from the star map → any planet → Explore to explore planet relics.
Expeditions
Expeditions are fleet missions with variable requirements (resources on board, minimum attack or defense) that you must meet before sending. The destination is a specific planet type and each type applies a different reward multiplier:
- Planet / Asteroid / Star — multiplier ×1
- Relic — multiplier ×2
- Black hole / Pulsar — multiplier ×3
- Natural wormhole — multiplier ×5
Upon completing the expedition you get one of these events: resources, Novas, booster, ship component, captured pirate fleet, or victory points. The number of available expeditions is limited and recharges daily. Your savings factor (based on your victory points) increases the amounts obtained.
Access from Missions → Expedition. You can force a reroll of the current expedition if you still have uses available.
Weekly Missions
Each week you receive a weekly mission with several objectives to complete in order. Each unlocked objective reveals a reward you can choose from several options: resources, boosters or ship components.
Rewards scale with the time elapsed in the round and with universe policies. If you have already completed all the objectives from the previous week, the mission renews automatically at the start of the following week.
Access from Missions → Weekly Mission.
Enclaves
Remote enclaves are special planets with limited access. They are not visible on the normal star map; they are only accessible from the Missions tab.
You can Conquer an enclave (uses 1 enclave attack, recharges 1 per week with a maximum of 2 accumulated) or Orbit it to defend it. The enclave's bonus multiplier grows linearly with the time you control it, reaching ×5 after 30 days of continuous control.
Travel times are fixed per enclave and are shown in the tab itself. You can chain Conquest + Orbit in the same dispatch so your fleet stays defending without extra travel time.
Access from Missions → Enclaves.
Operations
Operations are cooperative combat events with a pirate fleet generated by the game. Each operation has 10 milestones with progressive rewards you can choose from resources, Novas, boosters or components.
You participate by sending your fleet to the operation's planet. Rewards are delivered proportionally to the enemy defense you destroy. Combat in operations generates debris you can collect if your fleet survives.
Access from Missions → Operations.
Necronexos
Necronexos are special-type planets that generate a pirate fleet when you send a "Necronexo" mission toward them. By defeating that fleet you obtain Necroides as a reward, a special currency usable in exclusive upgrades.
Difficulty depends on the planet's orbit: the higher it is, the greater the defense generated. Your savings factor (based on victory points) reduces the defense and makes the challenge easier. Necronexo combats leave no debris.
Each player can complete each Necronexo once per week; challenges reset weekly. Necronexo planets do not appear from the very beginning: they unlock as you progress in the game.
Access from Missions → Necronexos or directly from the star map by selecting a Necronexo-type planet.
