Space Constructions

Unlike planetary buildings, space constructions are erected in space itself and project their effects beyond themselves. Some boost your economy, others reinforce your defense, and the most ambitious ones —the Motherships— grant unique advantages that can tip the balance of an entire game. Their cost is high, so they represent important milestones in your empire's development.

These are the main constructions you can build in space:

WonderOnly available at the end of the round, it appears in sector 0,0. The player or alliance that keeps it built for one week earns a large Novas prize at the end of the round.

Dyson SphereCaptures the energy of a star, allowing you to send fleets to its owner and allies at a much higher speed.

CitadelAllows you to build a single module with a very important upgrade for the entire alliance.

Sector DefenseJoins combat alongside an allied fleet anywhere in the sector.

BankAlliance financial center for carrying out research and investments.

ProspectingEnables defense of allied collections on that asteroid.

MothershipMobile base that supports your fleets far from your planets.

Artificial WormholeLinks with natural wormholes and those of your allies to shorten fleet travel times.

The most expensive space constructions are usually built with the support of alliance members. Through the alliance bank, members deposit resources into a common fund for alliance research. The result benefits all members, making these constructions a top-level cooperative goal.
