Statistics
How do statistics work?
In 5Dim there are two scoring systems that measure your progress and determine rewards at the end of each round. You can also win by building a Wonder. Understanding these systems is key to competing.
Total Points
Measure your investment in the game: constructions, research, and fleetsVictory Points
Accumulate every hour by controlling enclaves and leading the Hall of FameWonder Victory
Besides competing for points, there is an alternative way to win the round: build and defend a Wonder.Total Points
Total points reflect your overall progress in the game. They are calculated by adding the resources invested in constructions, research, and ships.
Construction points
Added for each building constructed on your planetsSpatial points
Points for space constructions: artificial wormholes, Dyson spheres, sector defenses, motherships and wondersModule points
Accumulated points for modules installed on your planetsResearch points
Includes both your personal research and your alliance researchFleet points
Points for all ships already completed and available in your fleet
, and the total points ranking reward is 300
Victory Points
Victory points are the key to earning rewards at the end of the round. They accumulate automatically every hour and reflect your strategic dominance.
Sources of victory points
Ranking Position
You receive points based on your position in the general ranking. The first player receives as many points as there are players, the second one less, and so on.
Enclave Control
Each enclave under your control (or your alliance's) generates points every hour. The higher the victory module level, the more points you receive.
Hall of Fame
You receive 1 point for each construction or research you have at the maximum level in the universe.
Every Hour
Points are calculated and added automatically at :55 of each hour.
Wonder Victory
Besides competing for points, there is an alternative way to win the round: build and defend a Wonder.
- Wonders can only be built on \"Foundation\" type planets, special locations that appear on the universe map. Find a free one and colonize it.
- Once construction begins, a cooldown period starts during which you must defend the Wonder from enemy attacks. If you lose control, you lose progress.
- If the cooldown timer reaches zero and you still control the Wonder, you and all members of your alliance win the round and receive a nova reward.
Novas and Round Rewards
Novas are the premium currency of 5Dim. Unlike in-game resources, novas persist between rounds and are used to buy boosters in the shop.
VP Ranking
At the end of the round, 500 novas are distributed among the top players by victory points.
TP Ranking
300 additional novas are distributed among the top players by total points.
Wonder Victory
Wonder winners receive 500 novas as a reward.
How to Read the Ranking
The ranking tabs allow you to compare your progress with all players and alliances in the universe.
- The player ranking shows: position, name, alliance, total points, total points rank, daily variation, victory points, and victory points rank.
- The alliance ranking sums the total points of all its members. A strong alliance combines players specialized in different areas.
- Total points update in real time when you build, research, or fabricate ships. Victory points update every hour at :55.
Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame shows who has the highest level in each construction and research in the universe.
- All available constructions are listed. If you have the maximum level, you will be highlighted.
- The same applies to research. Compete to be the first to reach each level.
- Being in the Hall of Fame grants you 1 victory point per hour for each element where you are the leader.
- In the Hall of Fame tab you can compare your level with the universe maximum. A crown indicates you are tied or leading.
Personal Statistics Tab
The personal statistics tab tracks all your economic and military activity in detail. Each section includes time evolution charts.
- Resources by expense category: breakdown of investments in constructions, space constructions, research, alliance research, shipyards, and modules.
- Income: resources obtained from asteroid harvesting and planetary mines.
- Trade: balance of resources sent vs. received in exchanges with other players.
- Combats: resources gained in victories vs. resources lost in defeats, with net balance.
- Defense: enemy defense destroyed vs. own defense lost in combats.
- Vestiges: record of all explored vestiges with their coordinates and rewards obtained.
- Expeditions: history of rewards from successful expeditions (novas, boosters, fleets, components, VP, rays).
- Missions and Operations: record of all completed missions and operations with their respective rewards.
Variation Indicator
In the ranking you will see arrows indicating how the points of each player or alliance have changed compared to the previous day:
Tips for New Players
- Focus first on building and upgrading your mines to generate resources constantly. Production is the foundation of everything.
- Join an active alliance as soon as possible: you will share enclave points, access shared research, and have protection.
- Complete weekly missions (Thursday to Tuesday) to earn extra rewards like novas, boosters, and components.
- Complete your daily expeditions. They refresh every day and you can accumulate up to 4. They offer varied rewards.
- Explore the vestiges you find on the map: they contain unique components and valuable boosters.
- Colonize new planets to expand your production and construction capacity. More planets = more resources.
- Check the Hall of Fame to identify where you can compete for first place and earn extra VP.
- Victory points matter more than total points for end-of-round rewards. Prioritize strategies that generate VP per hour.
Tips for Advanced Players
Strategies for experienced players looking to maximize their performance and compete for top positions:
- Maximize victory modules on your alliance's enclaves: each module level multiplies the VP generated per hour.
- Coordinate with your alliance on enclave rotation and defense. Enclave VP are shared among all members.
- Compete in the Hall of Fame only where viable: check maximum levels before investing resources.
- Use the VP per hour breakdown to spy on your rivals. You can check any player's points from this tab.
- Balance your investment between TP and VP: total points improve your ranking position (which generates VP), but direct VP weigh more in rewards.
- The Wonder is a high-risk, high-reward bet. Only attempt to build it when your alliance has clear military superiority.
- Monitor trade: every transaction is recorded in your statistics. Use trade strategically to strengthen key allies.
- Manage your novas with a long-term vision: invest in boosters that multiply production or research at key moments of the round.
